The group performed it's first formal recital at the college in September 2009, and "Live at the Woods" captures the recital in it's live performance. One of the strengths of the group is the breadth of its repertoire, ranging from classical and American standards to jazz, Dixieland, and period pieces. A portion of that range is illustrated in this CD. The members of Crossroads Brass are joined together by the sheer love of performing brass music and that is evident in this first recital recording.
